Memories of my childhood days Essay Memories of my Childhood Days My first recollection of my childhood is the day I down the stairs when I was three years old. I was so happy that time I cried and cried for nearly an hour in spite of my parents attempts at comforting me. Finally, I quietened down when I was given ice- cream and chocolates. Luckily, I was not hurt because the stairs is not to steep. My days were happy ones before I started going to school, as I had good neighbours to play with me. I was playing from morning till evening. We played games outdoors like Batu Seremban,Police entry and Lumba Lari. There were also other games to occupy our time until my mother bring a rattan to call me back.. At the age of five years, I had to attend kindergarten and this turned out to be quite an ordeal for me. To begin with, I felt very sad having to leave my mother and go off each morning to be amongst strangers. I cried and wanted my mother around, much to my teachers displeasure. As the days went by, however, I made friends easily in class and found company. I became happy again and actually looked forward to leaving the house each morning. I still remember those days when I was learning to ride a bicycle. I fell and bruised myself several times but I never gave up. Finally, I was able to join my friends going around the neighbourhood on my bike. Another fond memory is the end-of-year concert held at the kindergarten. I was chosen to play the role of Princess in the play, Princess and Gunung Ledang, and I became a celebrity overnight receiving lots of compliments for my performance. I now realise what a wonderful childhood I have had and at times wish I could relive those days.

When reading Shakespeare's â€Å"Othello the Moor of Venice†, the two main hero's seem to be very different, both in character and actions. Othello seems to be an honest man who believes other people. He is respected by society for his nobility and bravery. Iago is a villain, plotting around not only against Othello. Othello demotes him to a lower status, and despite beeing a trained soldier, Iago is quite a coward when it comes to confronting an enemy with a sword. Although these two figures seem so different, they are [much more] alike, in more than one way. They both share the army way of life, and they tend to curse and use harsh language when upset. They both betray the people they are close to. Othello and Iago are suspicious towards their wives, threaten them and eventually murder the innocent women.[In this essay we will see that] [D]despite their differences, Othello and Iago are two soul mates, that one way or another let their inner darkness out [and][TO] rule their actions. One way in which these two characters differ is in their character. From the beginning of the play, Othello lets Iago get close to him despite the fact that Iago is expected to be jealous of Cassio. This trust develops throughout the play. "O, thou art wise; 'tis certain" (IV, i, 72), Othello says to the villain, completely blinded by his lies. Iago, as can be seen from act one, made up his mind to ruin Othello. "I follow him to serve my turn upon him" (I, i, 42), he tells Roderigo, as he describes the plot against Othello. Another difference is in the way they are viewed by others.Othello is so respected for his services[,] that he doesn't fear any complaints from Barbantio. [HE PROUDLY STATES,] "My services which I have done the signiory Shall out-tongue his complaints" (I, ii, 19). When the senate needs someone to do the job, they ask for Othello "DUKE: Valiant Othello, we must straight employ you Against the general enemy Ottoman" (I, iii, 48). Iago was demoted by Othello, who chose Cassio to be his officer instead of him. Iago is of lower class, and his wife is a servant of Desdemona. The final major difference between their characters is bravery. Othello, on one hand, is brave. He is c... ...h, thou liest!† (V, ii, 233). Iago then stabs Emilia, and runs out. These two characters consistently degrade their wives, threaten them, and eventually murder them. As Shakespeare shows us, Othello and Iago are different in some ways.Othello, in the beginning, is a respected and brave fellow, who is naà ¯ve enough to fall for the scheme of a coward and an upset villain. However, as the plot evolves, the audience discovers the real Othello. Not only is he a rough army man like Iago, but he uses the same language, and doesn't hesitate to betray a fellow officer and plot to kill him, as Iago does to his friend. The audience can further see that Othello's attitude towards Desdemona turns out to be suspicious and degrading, just like his villain companion's attitude towards Emilia. Othello's dark personality gives only one conclusion, to what he thinks to be the infidelity of his wife: Murder. As a second half, Iago inevitably murders his wife too.Are they two of a kind? Although Shakespeare separates them to a hero and a villain, the audience can clearly see two characters[,] whose actions, personality, and state of mind, lead them to the same outcome.

We can set an alarm for the morning or a reminder about a doctor’s appointment, snapping a quick photo of a film poster to look at later, we can store ideas, memories and feelings within seconds. Besides, when we use the phone’s GPS system, we won’t have to worry about getting lost on the road or having trouble driving in a city that we are not familiar with at night. we can also download game apps to relax ourselves Smartphones also benefit in education system. Some lecturers use to record their lectures and create it where students can upload teachers’ lectures. Students who have smartphones can research various websites for research purposes easily. Teachers can use smartphones for file sharing, especially if they have the Dropbox app. This app is great for distributing information. Teachers can tell their students to make Dropbox accounts and create class-shared folders so that students can just submit their essays and projects from their computers or smartphones. Gifts come in all ways, shapes and forms. Sometimes you don’t even recognize that something or someone has been giving you a gift, you only know that it makes you feel happy. Happiness in itself is a gift that many different objects, people or places can give to someone. There are many different things that give me happiness within one day, that is for certain. But there are irreplaceable continuous gifts that live with us every single day, our animals. Whether you have a dog, cat, horse, fish, ferret (the list goes on) everyone has felt some sort of happiness or thankfulness for their animals. Not only do animals give back to us every day, but we also give back to the animals which can help change our perspective on life and become a little bit more selfless. This new creature solely relies on you to feed it, nurture it, shelter it, and love it for the rest of its life. That alone can change someone to be more selfless and responsible because they have to make sure that thei r animal comes first in all that they do so that it is as happy as possible. Capital punishment is a death sentence awarded for capital offences where in the criminal provisions consider such persons as a gross danger or threats to the existence of the society. As the merge of human rights associations, this punishment is strictly opposed for its cruelty and this has been a global debate for some years. In Malaysia, this punishment is proudly held in the law and until today, executions are being held. It is a great shame as all members of the United Nation were already called to join the moratorium of death penalty (Amnesty International, 2007). Every company practices different set of strategies and management styles that have lead to their success in the global market (Flanigan 2016). Some of the strategies are common but have different style of implementation. This article, therefore, looks at the factors and strategies that have both affect and led to the success of two major companies mainly the Airbus and Sony Corporations. Airbus The improving global economy has prompted the increased free movement of people, goods and services creating congestion in most of the Airports in the world (Peterson Merket 2014, p. 24). The improvement on the airlines has won the interest and curiosity of many airlines companies and mostly the Airbus. Airbus is a multinational company that was born after European aerospace firms came together with headquarters in both France and Netherlands. The company designs manufacture and sell both civil and military aeronautical products in the whole world. Airbus grew through using new technologies that have reduced fuel consumption concerning cost and burn, reduced noise and emissions and the management style as illustrated below. Good Customers service has been the mains companys objective. The Airbus Company has concentrated on listening to customers needs and concerns thus collecting more knowledge on various aspects (Peterson Merket 2014, p. 25).. Through this, Airbus is able to maintain its competitiveness in the market by being more efficient, effective, and responsive in service delivery. The company developed a program known as power eight that aims at restructuring the organization and production systems with the goal of integrating the Airbus into the new industrial society. The chain of value developed by the company has taken into account both the backward and forward channels such as the source of all raw materials and the consumer of the end product and service. The value of chain shows that both the airport and the customers are the main influencer of the company indirectly by providing the infrastructure and demand aspect respectively, while the bulk-buyers like the aircraft leasing enterprises form the suppliers. Therefore, it is very critical to forming a long-term relationship and strategic union to increase the number of customers and suppliers. Airbus has strategic management system known as a Transformational Process that consists of four Is. They are integration, innovation, improvement, and internalization (Peterson Merket 2014, p. 26). The integration aims at bringing together all the stakeholders such as the leaders, customers, and suppliers to create an integrated culture within the company. The innovativeness drives the company to come up with newly developed airlines to replace the older ones and can serve different aspects such as cargo used for carrying loads and passengers crafts. The improvement strategy addresses on the customer feedback to eliminate any obstacles and challenges faced to improve in service delivery. Sony Sony is a Japanese company began in 1946 by Akio Morita as an electronic shop in Tokyo (Zhu Wang 2017, p. 3794). Sony is a semiconductor corporation that engages its business through four main components that are audio-visual, electronic, information technology and communication products. Sony has been successful due to its progressive innovativeness of products that has been facilitated by increasing significance of computers and communication equipment. The growing need forced Sony to focus their thinking and research on the technological aspects of communication. The companys first product was the tape recorder when he realized the potential of the machine. The process of manufacturing the tapes was the shortage of the plastic bags in Japan. The company, therefore, opted to produce the reel-to-reel tapes. The law against the importation of the plastic bags from abroad created the shortage of the plastic bags. The company tried so many ways such as cellophane, rice paper and calen dared paper with the smooth surface which was coatable with magnetic powder. Later the company overcame the problem of the paper through building a superior quality into circulatory, recording head and amplification system. The company then produced transistor radios and continued innovating into more consumer electronics such as television and mobile phones. The company was very able to manage their risks that came with its ways, such as managing American acquisition (Zhu Wang 2017, p. 3796). Sony being a Japan company was controlled by Americans whom they recruited to control the company. The whole entertainment company, therefore, was being controlled from Hollywood by an American known as Mickey Schulhof till 1915. The company has recruited more European and American managers afterward bringing into different cultures in the company that has strengthened it. Therefore the company thought to give the Americans freedom to control their businesses. The second risk management aspect was political. The company experienced a hostile reaction from the public because of being well developed and renowned in the United States. The third risk was the strategic risk. Sony Company departed with a lot of money to develop its softwares. The company had to make its hardwares to be available to all softwares producers since it could not control the p urchases of the softwares. The management style of the Sony led to its success in the globe (Zhu Wang 2017, p. 3798). Arkio Morita was always a personal crusader who developed the strategic management system. Morita, even during the old age of seventy years could influence the company from home. After the Morita retirement in 1989, he remained active and participated in some decision making, and the entire successor imitated the Akio strategy of long-term development of people and believing that the pursuit of the profit is not the core goal of the company. The company has successfully coordinated the all the subsidiary in the globe by maintaining its values and policies through powering the communication system between the headquarters. Consistent productions of the new products have led the company to be globalized. Starting with a tape recorder, the company continued producing more quality products that appease to the consumers (Zhu Wang 2017, p. 3799). As the CD replaced the vinyl record, and the digital video replaces the video cassettes. The company is currently developing a digital video with its CD partner. These new products have continued to attract more customers to purchase the products hence increase their profitability and market share according to Rowlinson (2013). Lastly, the structural changes of Sony Company from a national to international strategy led to its development. The company, with its principal power in Japan, established both the productions and distribution chains around the world in four main parts that are Asia, Europe, America and Japan Conclusion Both companies play the major role in the global market by practicing diversion strategy of products and services. Both Airbus and Sony Corporations have concentrated on the needs of their customers and developed customer strategies that can give new high-quality goods and services over an extended years.
